Hello! We are Trevor & Paisley from Southern California! Thanks for taking time to learn about us. We hope to learn about your journey too. Paisley often works with non-profits serving young pregnant women & we’ve always admired their bravery.

Growing our family through adoption has always been a goal for us and now fertility issues have made it our focus. Both our families include adopted children we love, so adoption is a natural fit for us. As former co-teachers of children, we are excited to become a parenting team.

Your child would be a 1st grandchild in a close knit family of teachers & singers who are beyond excited to welcome a new family member.

We met teaching at a Children's Museum in 2011. We became fast friends working in the Art Studio and soon realized we had many common interests outside of work. Trevor made Paisley cute tissue paper flowers to catch her attention, but he really captured her heart decorating a Christmas tree with girl scouts! As we helped children express their creativity, our connection deepened. We started dating more seriously when Trevor planned a beach movie date to see Finding Nemo under the stars. He even surprised Paisley with a picnic basket including her favorite chocolates.

We dated for several years enjoying many concerts and beach dates before marrying in 2019 surrounded by family & friends in our backyard.

We enjoy traveling and live music and theater events. Because we are both artists, we love making art for our home together. Once we crafted each other the same Christmas gift and we couldn’t stop laughing! Our parents live nearby so we meet for weekly lunch and beach bike rides. We love barbecuing in the backyard with friends and family, and we enjoy attending our parents’ music concerts.

I was lucky to grow up in international schools while my dad served the United States overseas.

I’m passionate about sharing the international art I enjoyed as a child with my students! One of my favorite school activities is when families share their home culture’s clothing or food with our class. Teaching art is great because I get to create with every age, from babies to high school. I moved to California from Washington, D.C. to study art at UCLA and spent summers doing photography with teens in downtown Los Angeles. Since finishing teacher training, I’ve loved creating art with so many groups of children, including bilingual church preschoolers, deaf children, special education kindergarteners, and I've even worked with Snoop Dogg’s kids!

As a preschool teacher, I’ve helped many children learn to speak and read and I look forward to experiencing those stages with our future child! I’ve shifted into contract teaching, giving me flexibility to be at home for those precious early childhood years and beyond. I’m excited to explore fun neighborhood parks and community activities with our future child, discovering what interests them to nurture their talents. In my free time I enjoy reading, cake decorating and sunset gardening with our cat. I also like to spend time catching up with our close group of friends.

My years living overseas gave me wonderful experiences with different cultures, so I am committed to valuing, welcoming, and celebrating every child’s cultural background. The best part of teaching is watching a child enjoy beautiful art from their culture.

Paisley makes me smile and laugh everyday, and I am honored to have her as my partner for life. Since day one she has brought out the best in me, supporting me and building a beautiful home environment. She has an adventurous and creative spirit. I know she will be a magical mom who turns homework into adventures and brings love, comfort, and joy to each family member.

I grew up in Southern California in a very creative, supportive, loving family. My mom is a professional singer so during childhood I was surrounded by music, performances, and artists. My parents always encouraged me to draw and use my imagination as a child. I met up with my cousins often for baseball games, theme parks, and camping. I went to college in San Francisco, where I made lifelong friends while studying Graphic Design. During college, I enjoyed working as an after-school elementary teacher. Each Summer I was a beach camp counselor in Newport Beach. After graduation, I traveled and taught sports and art in Europe. Some of those kids, now grown, keep in touch and visit me as adults!

I enjoy watching and attending baseball games with my friends. I love trying new recipes while listening to all kinds of music. I've enjoyed running my own graphic design business for the past 12 years. It’s great to provide creative input to clients to help them to achieve their goals, and it’s fun to see my designs on billboards and on store shelves. Working for myself gives me flexibility to support my family, whether by coaching kids’ sports again or attending our future child’s school activities. I’m really looking forward to playing catch in the backyard and biking with our future child.

My friends and I like to meet at the YMCA for swimming and biking. On weekends Paisley and I love to catch a comedy show or cook a meal with family or friends.

Trevor is an optimist who keeps everyone's spirits high with his infectious excitement. He’s full of happy surprises like new dinner recipes or silly songs to make me laugh in life's stressful moments. Even before we dated, when we were co-teachers, I knew he would be the world's best dad. Trevor has this super fun, relaxed attitude that inspired kids to create their best art at the children’s museum. I'm lucky that the man I love will one day be an outstanding dad!

We live in a friendly suburb between Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm (a Snoopy Theme Park) and it’s one of the most diverse communities in America. Both the beach and arts events are only minutes away! A variety of parks, playgrounds, snowy mountains, zoos, museums, kids activities and community events are nearby. It would be a dream come true to bring our future child to these places to discover a wonderland of possibilities. Our house sits on a quiet cul-de-sac where kids can safely play and enjoy excellent public schools. We’ve grown close to several families with children during evening walks and through neighborhood get-togethers. Our friends’ kids love Trevor’s Nintendo gaming room, Paisley’s art studio, and our yard full of fruit trees.

Our home is so inviting, a neighborhood cat insisted on moving in! Cali our calico cat loves cuddling, playing ball and jumping with crickets. She always joins our nightly walks and neighborhood kids love to pet her.

Our parents live nearby and can’t wait to celebrate birthdays with their first grandchild! We look forward to Christmas services when both our parents sing in church choirs. This year both our cousins and best friends had babies! We’re excited to share family Disney trips with Trevor’s cousin Elise, her husband Ramon and their new baby. We share each Thanksgiving with all of our parents together, enjoying traditional turkey dinner, including Trevor’s homemade stuffing and Grandma’s pie recipes! We meet up with Paisley’s midwest cousins, aunts and uncles during summers to hike and explore together. We love to vacation in Hawaii with our parents, and this past year we surprised Grandma by bringing her along to see the beautiful islands for the first time.

We love family weddings and this year’s highlight was a traditional Vietnamese rehearsal dinner at Trevor’s cousin’s wedding in Australia. We are part of a strong community of friends and family who wholeheartedly support our adoption journey. Surrounding your child with supportive and diverse family and friends will be a priority in our life together.
