We are Jamie and Enrique from Los Angeles, California. We are so excited for the opportunity to grow our family. Thank you for choosing to take the path of adoption which makes this blessing possible. It’s a decision we cannot imagine that would be easy for any parent. Our hearts are overflowing with love to give to your child and growing our family would be a dream come true. We imagine giving your child a nurturing, loving, healthy environment where they can grow into the person they are meant to become.
Dear Birth Mother...
Why Adoption
We are adopting to grow our family, it’s a dream we have had since our wedding day. After a few failed attempts at the fertility clinic, we knew adoption would make it possible for us to expand our family. To be given the chance to be the adopted parents and support your child to grow into the best person they can be would be an honor and a blessing. We will raise your child in a happy and love filled home. It would be an honor and a privilege to raise your child and see them become the person they were designed to be.

Our Story
In 2010, we met at a swing dance class. At the time we were only acquaintances and constantly kept crossing paths for the next 7 years. It wasn’t until 2017, when Jamie asked Enrique to practice swing dancing. He misunderstand and thought she wanted to be his dance partner for dance competitions. We continued practicing after class and ultimately fell in love. We discovered that we had a lot more in common and shared a passion for our faith. Two years later after our first dance practice we got married.
Meet Enrique, by Enrique
I enjoy running in the mornings, it allows me to reflect on things but also admire the beauty that surrounds us. One of the greatest gifts is watching the sunrise during my morning runs. I also enjoy writing short stories and am currently working on my first children’s book. I look forward to sharing some of those stories or reading other books as a dad. Currently I am working from home as a Fleet manager for a corporation. It allows me to be accessible in times of need and flexible when necessary. When I’m not busy, I love taking photos or sketches of anything that catches my eye. As for the holidays, I love Christmas. I enjoy all the holiday festivities such as food, movies and decorating. I start putting up decorations on November 1st of each year. You could call me a “foodie”! I love pizza especially Chicago deep dish pizza. I love to run marathons and celebrate by shipping pizza from Chicago before each marathon race!
More About Enrique, by Jamie
Enrique has always been there for me no matter what I’m going through. I knew he was a sincere person when we were dating and I had a bug issue in the house. He was eager to come and help me resolve it even though he could have put himself at risk of getting bitten. He stayed with me for hours helping me. When I was sick, he would read to me and make sure I had what I needed to get better. To this day, he still takes very good care of me. I really love how genuine and sensitive Enrique’s heart is. We also make each other laugh a lot! I look forward to becoming a parent with Enrique because I know he will be an amazing father!

I enjoy exercising and staying active. I love to go hiking, the gym, dancing, swimming, and ice skating. For the holidays, I enjoy baking cookies (especially my famous chocolate chip cookies) for everyone, spending time with family, and curling up on the couch to watch Christmas movies with Enrique. I work as a Registered Dental Assistant, my job allows me to have flexibility to accommodate most family needs. I love spending time with friends and having girl time at bible study. I have a small group of girlfriends that I met at a church and they are the best! We have been getting together for bible study for years. I adore animals! I have always had pets such as hamsters, cats, and bunnies.
More About Jamie, by Enrique
Jamie always surprises me how selfless she is any time we are out and about, she makes an effort to help others. I recall one time we spent date night on Hollywood Blvd. giving out sandwiches. And even after we were exhausted from walking, she wanted to continue and help one more person. Her big heart drew me in and its something I always admire. Jamie goes out of her way to help others even if its an inconvenience. She is my best friend and partner in life.
I look forward to raising a child with Jamie. She has a lot of love and enjoys being with children. When we see our nieces, Jamie loves playing with them and listens to their stories from school. She is very sincere with them and they can see how appreciative she is to hear their stories.

Our Home
We live in a suburb located in the northern part of Los Angeles. We live in a gated community that has a playground, pool, tennis court, and a gym. We love our home, it is our first home as a married couple. We live 20 minutes away from the beach and Universal Studios Hollywood, and an hour away from Disneyland. There is a park down the street that we enjoy visiting especially during the summer. They hold live performances and fireworks during 4th of July. We love walking around the park after dinner and feeding the squirrels. The community we live in is mostly families with young children. We often hear them playing at the pool or outside in the playground. We also enjoy having Jamie’s family over who are only 10 minutes away from us. There are several nearby stores including a few grocery stores, restaurants and a yogurt shop that we often visit. We enjoy going to the nearby dog park where there are hiking trails that we go visit on the weekends.
Our Village
Enrique comes from a large family. His immediate family lives in Utah and Arizona, and he has extended family in Mexico and Texas where he grew up till he was 12 years old, afterwards his family moved to Utah. Enrique has 19 aunts and uncles, 69 first cousins (the majority live in Texas). Enrique has 2 younger sisters, Vanessa and Cristy, who both have kids now. His youngest sister lives in Arizona and just had her first child and her husband has 2 adopted siblings. His other sister has 4 kids between the ages of 5-13 years old. We love to go to Utah during the holidays when it’s snowing and go sledding with the nieces or go see Christmas lights and drink hot chocolate.
Most of Jamie's family lives locally. She was born and raised here, and is a California native. She is an only child but her closest experience to having siblings is her two older cousins, Ian and Evan. Her cousin Ian who lives nearby has two kids, Max and Charlie, Jamie loves having conversations and spending time with them. In times of need, her family is always eager to help. Her family is looking forward to the new addition to the family. We celebrate most holidays with them with the exception when we travel to Utah for Enrique’s family. Jamie and her aunt love to make their favorite fudge dessert. She loves making her jello mold recipe that has been passed down generations.
Our Thoughts on Parenting
Family for us is having old traditions and creating new ones with our future child. Our family is a mixture of different backgrounds and generations. We combined theirs to create the perfect balance. But one thing that unites us is our faith which is the foundation of our family. We both grew in different backgrounds and life experiences. We have many traditions that we would love to share with our future child. One tradition is Jamie passing down her baking recipes. Enrique would love to share his passion for running and the arts. In reality, we know that our future child will have their own interests which we will help them purse to their fullest.
The most important thing we would like to do is provide your child a warm loving home, a home where they can come to and feel safe. We will create a safe place where they can express themselves without being judge or shamed. Parenting for us means being their life couch, emotional support, and loving parents. Family for us means love, God’s love.
In Closing
We would like to thank you for taking the time to read about us. Choosing adoption is a noble decision that we admire and respect. We have a lot of love to give and can’t wait to be involved in helping your child develop to their full potential. As adoptive parents our goal is to be supportive and provide a home where your child can be 100% transparent without ever fearing judgment. A parent’s job is to be an emotional couch, being there at all times as their biggest cheerleader. We would love to guide and motivate them to reach all their dreams.
Our plan is to fill your child with confidence and loving supportive words of affirmation, always guiding them and lifting them up.
Thank you for reading about us. We look forward to hearing from you and possibly be given the opportunity to become adoptive parents.
