Hello, I'm Natalie, an American living in London! I have so much respect for the decision you are making and the love that goes into it. Thank you for reading this profile and getting to know me. I am so grateful for your consideration and would love to get to know you and welcome your child. I want to be there every step of the way for them, building bridges based on understanding and trust and honoring your values, hopes and dreams as an integral part of their upbringing. I can't wait to meet you!
Dear Birth Mother
Why Adoption
I have dreamed of being a mother my entire life, and I want to bring a child into a loving home where they can grow, learn, explore new ideas and feel protected and loved. Although I cannot have a child of my own I am at a time in my life where I am ready to become a parent and I have been grateful to receive the support of family and friends who have encouraged me to explore adoption.
My Story
I was born in London to a British and American family. We emigrated to California when I was a child and I grew up near LA with a supportive family baking Mrs. Fields cookies, playing sports and taking family trips to England to see our cousins. I went to university at Berkeley then in my 20s I lived in Australia, Jamaica, and China working in travel, tech and finance. For the last decade my work as a consultant has taken me back to London where I have a strong foundation.
My Hobbies & Interests
I'm a life-long learner and my pastimes include attending art exhibits and lectures, visiting international food fairs, traveling and writing music. I like to be outdoors! On any given day you can find me picnicking and playing soccer in the park with friends, growing herbs from seeds, hiking or reading a book. I love to host barbecues. You can take the girl out of California but not the other way around! Also, I am very passionate about democratizing access to education and my dream is to start my own scholarship fund. I love to travel! I travel between the UK and USA for family reunions every summer and for the Christmas holidays, and have done this my whole life. Outside of this my favorites trips have been to Costa Rica, Nigeria, Vietnam, India and Croatia.
My Career
I work as a freelance financial consultant. Through my work, I get to meet inspiring entrepreneurs and help them build their client base and partnership portfolios. My job allows me the flexibility of working from home and choosing my own hours so I can create an ideal environment for a child to have a parent who is there to cater to their needs, take them to school and plan fun activities and cooking nights.

My Home & Community
I have a multicultural family and group of friends. I am lucky to have their support nearby. I live in Notting Hill, London which has outdoor markets, playgrounds, community gardens, sporting grounds and cultural festivals within walking distance. Just outside the city there are beautiful seaside towns, hiking trails and rivers where you can take a boat. Most European countries are a short plane ride away and I would like a child to feel grounded at home but also take them on trips to experience different languages, societies and landscapes. The nice thing about my community is I have a lot of outdoor space and parks, rivers, outdoor markets and playgrounds. I live in a multicultural community which regularly holds food festivals from around the world and I have friends and family in walking distance.
Meet My Village
I have family in the UK and US and we visit each other regularly. Each summer we have a reunion, spending time swimming and laughing. I have two siblings. My sister and I grew up helping to take care of our little brother. I love babysitting my sister’s kids and sharing my adventures with them. I got my niece a camel piggy bank and she took it to school for show and tell, informing the class that this was her camel from Bahrain from Auntie Nat. It warmed my heart. My loved ones would describe me as thoughtful, kind, patient, adventurous, international but grounded, goal-oriented and open-minded. My sister Jessica, who has 3 little girls said, "Natalie has an exceptional ability to connect with her nieces, demonstrating patience, kindness and empathy in her interactions with them." My oldest friend Catherine says, "As a mother myself I know too well that raising a child is not just about love but practicality, support and patience, all of which Natalie has in abundance. She has the wonderful and unique ability to rise to any challenge presented and a quiet determination and resilience in both good times and bad. She is calm, considered and unquestionably moral."

Thoughts on Parenting
I will pour my heart and soul into loving your child each and every day. To me, parenting is a gift and a responsibility I would want to cherish and I would never take for granted. I want my child to learn that they can express themselves and find out who they are and what they want in life through open dialogue and new experiences. It takes a village to raise a child and I am confident that I will be able to welcome a child not only into my home but into my support network which will welcome them with open arms.
