We’ve always known that adoption would be part of our journey, especially after becoming parents to our wonderful son, Jett. Our family has so much love to give, and we’re excited to welcome another child into our hearts. We’ve felt the joy and growth that being parents brings, and we can’t wait to share that with another child. It is no longer a safe option for us to have a pregnancy, so we look forward to adoption as a means to continue to grow our family now. We know parenting has its challenges, but we’re ready to embrace it all with love, patience, and plenty of laughter. From the moment we met at work, we clicked over our shared sense of humor and genuine compassion for others. One of our favorite memories is adopting our two cats—who are still part of the family today (although they are much fatter and lazier now). Now, we live a quiet, peaceful life outside of town, surrounded by nature. We make the most of each day with walks, bike rides and vacation road trips. Our home is full of love, laughter, and a bit of chaos thanks to our lively and adventurous 5-year-old, Jett. We’re always finding new ways to spend time together, whether it’s playing board games, cooking family meals, or just being goofy. We’re grateful for the life we’ve built and can’t wait to share it with another child, offering them the same love, joy, and laughter we share every day.

I love reading, crafting, and spending time with kids—it’s one of the reasons I work as a nanny. Being around children brings me so much joy, and I believe in creating a supportive, loving environment for them to grow and thrive. I’m very family-oriented. We love to play games, go to the beach, and just have fun together. I love going on adventures with Jett, whether it’s exploring at home or going somewhere fun. We can’t wait to bring another little one along on our future adventures, filling our days with laughter, learning, and lots of love. Adoption is a journey I’m excited to take, and I’m ready to share our life and provide a child with the love, stability, and care they deserve.

Brittney was born to be a mom! She has a natural warmth and patience that makes every child feel safe, loved, and understood. She has a way of making even the simplest things—like bedtime stories or baking cookies—feel special. She’s the kind of mom who never misses a chance to make Jett laugh, encourage his curiosity, or remind him how deeply he is loved. Her kindness and gentle nature make her a person that kids naturally gravitate toward, and she’s always the first to step in with comfort, wisdom, or just a listening ear. Watching her with our child, it’s clear that motherhood is her greatest joy, and I know she’s so excited to share that love with another child. Our family is full of laughter, adventure, and love, and I can’t wait to see Brittney continue to shine as a mom to another little one.

It’s hard to say exactly when I knew I wanted to adopt, but it’s something I’ve felt deep in my heart for as long as I can remember. I am a Director at a health care research organization. I work from home, which gives me the incredible gift of spending extra time with my family and being present for all the little moments that matter most. When I’m not working, you can usually find me in the garage tinkering with my truck, mowing the grass on a sunny afternoon, or in my home office adding to my sports card collection. I also love to travel and explore new places—whether it’s a road trip or an adventure a little farther from home. I love the balance of staying busy and finding time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, and I can’t wait to share that sense of joy, adventure, and stability with another child.

There are so many things I love about Chad, but one of my favorite things is his sense of humor. He always knows how to make me laugh, and he brings so much joy to our home. Chad is patient, kind, and always ready to lend a hand or listen when anyone needs it. Chad has a knack for trivia and is a huge movie buff! His knowledge of movies and random facts never fails to impress me, and we always have fun chatting about our favorite films and trivia. As a dad, Chad is caring, nurturing, and super involved in every part of Jett’s life. Whether it’s playing games, helping with schoolwork, or simply being present, he always makes Jett feel loved and supported. Chad is the kind of dad who drops everything when his family needs him, and the love he has for our family is unmatched. I know he will be just as amazing with another child as he is with our first. I feel so lucky to have him as my partner in this journey of parenthood.

We are both avid readers and love sharing the joy of reading with Jett. One of our favorite things to do is visit the library or bookstore to pick out something new to read. Jett developed a love of reading early on and has already built quite the book collection of his own. He’s always excited to share his favorites with us, and he can’t wait to introduce his new sibling to the joy of reading. Our core family values of kindness, acceptance, and community guide everything we do. We strive to instill these values in all of the children in our lives, helping them grow into compassionate and open-minded individuals. We believe that every child should have the chance to experience a wide range of perspectives, cultures, and adventures.

Another important part of our lives is our travels. We love exploring new places together, and have a goal of visiting all 50 U.S. states and all 13 Canadian provinces and territories. From Disneyland in California to Spring Training baseball in Arizona, Jackson Hole in Wyoming to the Field Museum in Chicago, we love being in different parts of the country just as much as we love being at home.

Jett is 5. He is a bundle of energy! He’s always on the move, filling the room with his bright smile and contagious laugh. When he’s not running around, he loves building impressive towers with his Legos, or playing with his Mario figurines. Jett can’t wait to have a sibling to grow and play with. He’s eager to share his love, guidance, and excitement as they grow together.

We love our home and the life we’ve built here in Graham, Washington. Nestled among tall pines and abundant wildlife, our house sits just outside of town, offering both peaceful solitude and a strong sense of community. We spend our days enjoying the fresh air, whether it’s playing in the yard, spotting deer through the trees, or simply sitting on the porch together. Inside, our home is warm and welcoming, with plenty of space for laughter, creativity, and making memories. Whether it’s playing board games, working on projects in the garage, or enjoying family movie nights, our house is truly a place of love and togetherness. We’re excited to share this home with another child—exploring the woods, building forts, and creating new traditions as a family. Our community is a wonderful place to grow up, with great schools, friendly neighbors, and plenty of opportunities for adventure.

We share our home with two cuddly and lovable cats. Baloo, our sweet boy, is blind, but he’s still the gentlest, most affectionate cat you could meet. He absolutely loves treats and is always ready for belly rubs, no matter the time of day. His twin sister Nina is just as sweet and has a unique routine—she can always be found hanging out with Daddy while he works in his home office during the day, and at night, she snuggles up with Mama as we settle into bed.

We have an absolutely amazing, supportive, diverse extended family and a great group of friends who are an important part of our lives. Most of our friends have young children, and we love to spend time together. Most weekends you can find us at the zoo or the park or the nearby wildlife preserve with friends or family. Everyone in our loving community has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey and they are all excited for us to welcome a new little one into our family. Many times per year, we make the trip by road or air to Wyoming, where Chad’s parents and siblings live. They are all a huge part of our lives despite the distance, and we cherish our time spent with them. Brittney’s parents and brother live close to us, and we make it a priority to see them at least once a week for dinner and boardgames. With our wonderful community of family and friends offering love, guidance, and a sense of belonging, we’re thrilled to raise our child in such a nurturing, close-knit environment.

Parenting, to us, is about creating a home where a child feels deeply loved, always supported, and free to be themselves. We don’t believe in molding a child into who we think they should be—we believe in guiding them to discover who they are. We want to raise children who are kind, resilient, and unafraid to chase their dreams, knowing we’ll always be in their corner.
