Hello! We are Chris & Megan from Fontana, California. We cannot thank you enough for taking a moment to learn about us! We do not pretend to know the emotions you are experiencing in considering an adoption plan for your child, but we want you to know that it would be an honor to be your child’s adoptive parents. It has been our dream to have children and when we realized we could not have them naturally, we considered all our options. Adoption is the only option that truly felt right. We are very excited to hear from you and to take the next step on this journey.

We did not hit it off; in fact, we did not like each other very much when we met in German I class. It wasn’t until the Fall semester, when we both took German II, that we changed our opinions. Chris tutored Megan in German during that semester. We started spending a lot of time together. On Veteran’s Day we had our first date - dinner and a movie. We spent our second date at Disneyland and have been together ever since. In 2014, Chris proposed to Megan in their Disneyland hotel room. We were married a year later in San Dimas, California surrounded by friends and family. Though we have different personalities, we find they bring us closer together.

Megan was born in Crailsheim, Germany when her father was serving in the U.S. Army. Her family moved to the United States when she was two years old. She spent her early childhood in Colorado and has lived in Southern California since she was eight. Megan loved acting in her high school’s drama program but found her true passion in college. Megan earned her Associates Degree in Fine Arts from Mount San Antonio College. She had always been artistic, but fell in love with acrylic paint in her first Painting class. Megan is an accomplished artist and has not only sold several original works, but she has been commissioned to paint numerous pieces. She currently works as a Purchasing Supervisor for a Hispanic food company. Megan’s goal is to leave the corporate world, open an art studio where she can teach and sell her art and be a wonderful mother to our future child. Megan is very passionate and strong, and never allows her fears to get in the way of what needs to get done. She loves her family and friends and is definitely the “social butterfly” in our marriage. She adores classic and contemporary film and can memorize a movie after seeing it once. She is currently on a mission to get me to love classic films as much as she does, and I’ll admit, she’s succeeding. Megan will make an amazing mother and will share her passion and love of the arts with our child.

Megan has been collecting autographs with her father since she was 12 years old. She has met over 100 movie stars.

Chris was born and raised in Southern California. He comes from a loving home with very supportive parents. He was encouraged to join band and Boy Scouts. His parents attended every band performance and his father was a Scout Master. One of my favorite things about Chris is how handy he is to have around. He is very much the Eagle Scout, always prepared to help in any situation. This is something that is reflected in his work as well. Chris worked for Disneyland for several years, beginning with their college program. This allowed many free visits to the park, but he eventually moved on to Quality Assurance at his current company. He has been moving up the ladder and is currently being groomed for another promotion. Chris is very analytical, loves to read, and is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. He is very quiet and shy to begin with, but once he opens up, he is truly wonderful to spend time with. My family loves him and he fits right in with our quirky ensemble. I cannot wait to watch Chris shine as a loving and thoughtful father to our future child.

We live in a beautiful three bedroom house with a large backyard, huge patio and plenty of plants. There is a park a block away where all the neighborhood kids play and more parks, cafes, and restaurants just a couple miles away. The elementary school and the high school are also only a few minutes away. The neighborhood is very friendly with many children outside playing. We look forward to going on walks together, barbecues in the backyard and lots of fun!

Buffy is our eleven year old rescued tabby “kitten.” She is very affectionate, and loves playing with “mousies,” and tissue paper. We all enjoy our weekend cuddles and are excited to add another into the mix. Buffy loves looking out the window and she’s always there to greet us when we come through the door. Our nephew Lucan is excited to see Buffy every time he visits and she has also been a great companion while working from home.

We both come from very loving families. We enjoy seeing Megan's family as we only live about 30 minutes away from them. Megan’s sister Natasha, nephew Lucan, brother Micah, and parents live close. We have weekly dinners and bowl together on a family league. Chris’s parents recently moved to Washington State close to his brother Andrew and his wife Caitlin. We enjoy visiting up north a few times a year especially during the holidays. We are a very close family! We love to eat, watch movies, and play games together. We gather both families for holidays and BBQs. We also go on trips together! Our last family trip was thirteen of us on a cruise to Alaska, including Megan’s immediate family, Chris’ parents, and two of Megan’s Aunts. This year, we will be traveling to Yellowstone together! Everyone is so excited to welcome another child into the family!

Easter – We dye Easter eggs the night before and spend Easter day with family. The Easter Bunny visits every year and hides baskets for the kids to find.

Halloween – We watch Halloween movies the entire month of October. We invite friends and family to come and enjoy the marathon with us. We watch a wide verity of films ranging from Hocus Pocus and Casper to classic Horror.

Christmas – We spend Christmas morning with each other and Christmas Day with Megan’s family. We travel up North just before Christmas to see Chris’ family and celebrate together. We go shopping for a real tree in early December and love the smell of pine throughout the season.

We have two couples that are our closest friends: We love to hang out with Rachel and Cameron, and we often invite each other over for dinner, go to amusement parks, and have even traveled together. Ana and Anthony have two beautiful children, Jessabelle and Landon (our Godson). We enjoy playing games together, going out to dinner, and being a part of their family.

We promise to love your child unconditionally, play with them, teach them, and to always support their dreams.
