Hello from Los Angeles, California! We are Taylor and Matt. Thank you for considering us for your child's adoption. Our strong belief is that family is not defined solely by blood, but by the bonds of love and commitment. As we open our hearts and home to the possibility of adoption, we are excited to share with you a glimpse into our lives, our values, and the love we are eager to give.

When we found we could not have children on our own, we did not lose hope. Adoption gives us the chance we have always wanted, to be loving parents. We cannot wait to share our love, home, and family.

We are both from the West Coast but met in law school in Massachusetts. We like to say we traveled 3,000 miles to meet. Our first date was a concert and we continue to enjoy live music at the great concert venues in Los Angeles. We love to travel and cannot wait for our future child to join us on these journeys.

We live in a beautiful neighborhood in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles. Many of our neighbors have lived in their homes for over 20 years and we enjoy running into them when walking our dogs, Roxie and Bowser.

We love spending time in our pool or nearby beaches, cuddling on the couch with a good movie, and hosting dinner with friends and family.

I am caring, silly, driven, and someone who loves with all of my heart. I surround myself in bright colors. I love the feel of sand between my toes, the salty smell of the ocean, and the sound of crashing waves. I have so much fun hosting our friends and family for dinner parties and game nights. I cherish spending time with my nieces and nephews, and, of course, my little dogs.

I cannot wait to be a mother!

Taylor is kind, selfless, and lights up the room. Our nieces and nephews instantly flock to Taylor whenever we visit, but I know that Taylor is always equally excited to see them. Her happy place is at the beach, soaking up the sun and listening to the waves. Taylor is an amazing travel companion who loves to explore new places and experience different cultures. But Taylor is equally happy curled up with an audiobook and a puppy on her lap. With her loving nature and energetic spirit, I know Taylor is going to be an amazing mother.

I am patient, a good listener, and someone who fiercely loves those who are close to me. I’m a big kid at heart, spending time building Legos, playing video games, and getting into lightsaber battles with my nieces and nephews at Disneyland. I always have a song in my head and I am often caught singing or humming a tune. I love preparing a menu and cooking up a storm for friends and family.

Most of all, I love exploring this great big world with my amazing wife.

I am truly honored to be Matt’s wife. I feel like I won the marriage lottery. I chose Matt as my life-long partner knowing he would one day be an amazing father. Matt is unselfish, loving, playful, and cooks epic meals. Matt is not just my husband, he is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. Matt may initially seem quiet and shy, but once you get to know him, the quirky, silly version of him comes to life. His patience is unmatched, and he protects and nurtures the ones he loves. Matt will never pressure our future child, but he will encourage them to be their best self.

Matt will love our future child unconditionally, just as he loves me through our ups and downs.

We live in a lovely suburb of Los Angeles, California. We often say that we live in a small town in the big city. We enjoy spending time in our beautiful backyard and participating in neighborhood block parties. We love our neighborhood, especially in the spring when all of the rose bushes are in bloom.

We are a short drive to the beach, parks, and some of Los Angeles’ great music venues. We enjoy decorating our house for the seasons and go overboard at Christmas. We have family and friends over as often as possible for dinners, pool parties, and board game nights.

We are very close to our families, especially our 11 nieces and nephews. We visit family as often as possible and love catching up with everyone on Facetime, family chats, and online MarioKart battles. We enjoy family competition playing board games, poker, and our annual family fantasy football league. We admittedly spoil our nieces and nephews on their birthdays and at Christmas, and enjoy treating them to Disneyland when they visit.

Roxie is an 8-year old Maltese and Yorkie mix, and is Bowser a 2-year old parti Yorkie. Roxie is a "Velcro-dog," always wanting to cuddle next to us. Bowser brings toys to anyone who will play with him and loves to cuddle in laps when he gets tired.

Both dogs love being around kids and love to sneak a doggy-kiss.

We will raise your child to know the selfless gift you have given to our family and will always speak of your love for them. They say there's never a perfect time to have a child, but our hearts and home have long been prepared for this incredible adventure. We are eager to get to know you and support one another and learn of your hopes and wishes for your child.
